We could be lonely together
We could feel all alone with each other
Wounded healers
Camping for a night
Or maybe a lifetime
As the two of us become one
And yet still alone
As one light
As one light shared by much darkness
Like a spark from a campfire
Ascending into darkness
Souls set free as our vessels return
to their original source
ashes and dust
