I open windows and doors everyday
I thank God and stay clean
Grace love and mercy
Come into my life because
My windows are uncluttered and clear
The doors to my soul creek open
Then begin to swing open smoothly on the hinges of love
The wind pours in and allows my lungs to be filled with the spirit that gave life
My windows are clear and my door ancient sold oak
That resonates when knocked on
Or just by opening and closing
I love the windows and doors of my life
How they allow other people
Family, friends and strangers to experience
The very essence of my soul
