FAITH

The subject I know best is faith
Because that is what drives me to move forward
To accomplish what before seemed like unreachable goals
Even when my negative emotions tell me not to
It is the simple act of faith that fuels me
To forgive others
To forgive myself
And when I feel inadequate and the negative tapes begin to play
It is because of faith
that I am able to not stay stuck in a rut
Or be stuck in yesterday
But rather move forward and evolve into what I was intended to be
And not look back
But forward into tomorrow
For what I have come to believe is
that faith is the fuel
That helps me rise above the negative
And motivates me to grow and expand
Into the man I continue to become
