Founded by Dr. Tessa Warschaw, Big Thinking Women (BTW) is a collective of highly accomplished women ages 50+ who leverage their combined wisdom to affect change. Whether its redefining age or charting the course for higher achievement, BTW helps its members become a powerful force. The organization chose Urban Possibilities’ founder Eyvette A. Jones as an honorary member and UP as its adopted charity of choice. Each month members donate clothing and accessories and help spread the word of our mission.

The Los Angeles Chapter of FGI hosts “A New Look for a New Life” an ongoing drive to collect new and “gently used” business clothing to support Urban Possibilities. FGI is an international professional group with more than 5,000 members in the fashion industry. It was created in 1930 by a group of iconic women including Eleanor Roosevelt, Edith Head, Helena Rubenstein and Elizabeth Arden.

Community Partners

Urban Possibilities is a part of Community Partners, a 501c3 organization. Community Partners chooses non-profits with innovative solutions to societal problems and acts as a catalyst for change by using their resources to help those non-profits succeed. They provide a myriad of training and management support to accelerate organizational growth and help groups maximize their potential.

LA Mission

On the corner of 5th and Wall, the Los Angeles Mission is a beacon of hope for homeless men, women and children and has been for 70 years.  It offers food, clothing, shelter, job training and hope for those with no place to turn.  We are pleased to provide clothing for men in its 12-month rehabilitation program and to women being served by the mission’s Ann Douglas Center.
